blue-green Euro bracelet

Description

Another Euro 4-in-1. Gods, I hate this weave, but with the ring size I had, I couldn't get Byzantine (my favorite weave) to work. (Euro takes hours and, if you're me, REFUSES to lay right.)

Alas, the pictures don't do the colors justice. I made these rings by taking 20 gauge enameled copper craft wire I bought at JoAnn's and wrapping them around a 3/16 in. dowel rod. They're the smallest thing I've worked with (duh), and I think it would've gone faster if I'd had smaller-tipped pliers.

It's a really pretty blue and green, btw. The closures are way evident because, well, it's enameled copper.

If you want a picture of it on my arm - it's a little blurry, but the colors show up a lot better than on the paper - click full view.

Hrm. I wonder why the preview image and the full screen are different pictures....

If you say that a byzantine weave is even better than this, I hope you'll share an example of it with us.
Very nice work. These sort of chain-mail pieces baffle the heck out of me in their intricacy.
